Decorative elements and soft furnishings can enrich and enhance our interiors adding interest and character. Curtains and blinds play an important role in screening sun and insulating our homes. We have a range of excellent workrooms manufacturing blinds, curtains, upholstery and bedding and have established, trading relationships with all leading fabric houses. We organise everything; sampling, quotations, manufacturing and installation.

We are passionate about designing houses that are sensitive to their environment, respond to their place, are adaptable to the changes of family life and are energy efficient. For us interior design is a critical component of the whole house design, so that your home functions well and is a joy to live in. We prepare concept designs, arrange budget costings and prepare the detail drawings for tender and council. We also manage the project to ensure a smooth passage through the building process and an outcome faithful to the design.

We all know that colour can make a big difference to how a room feels. Colour is also very personal. We work with you, considering the colour of all elements that make up a room, to develop a scheme to inspire and delight. We provide colour advice for interiors and exteriors. We will prepare complete schemes working with Dulux, Resene, Wattyl, Porters and Murobond's ranges, providing A4 brush outs for all selected colours.

We believe a kitchen should be enjoyable to work in and efficient to use. We design kitchens to be an integral part of your house, not as a separate item. We design and specify the cabinetry, working with you to source bench top materials, cupboard finishes, hardware, accessories and appliances, so that your kitchen is a meaningful part of your whole house.

We believe a bathroom should be as simple as possible, easy to care for, have good light and ventilation, be a delight to be in and if need be provide a place of sanctuary. We design and detail all elements of a bathroom, working with you on the selection of bathroom ware, taps, accessories and tiles.

By connecting our houses to outdoor living rooms, using light and shade, fire and water, we extend the experience of our place. We work with Landscape Architects, Garden Designers and Horticulturists so that your garden is an integral part of enjoying your home.

Light brings life. Used well it will awaken the viewer to shape, form, texture and focus the eye on treasured objects. It can evoke moods of tranquility or drama. Good lighting illuminates work areas to make them both efficient and pleasing. We design interior and exterior lighting for residential or commercial projects. We keep abreast of the technological development in energy efficiency for task lighting, mood, ambient or decorative lighting.

We believe in preserving the best of our built environment and in looking for ways to adapt old buildings for contemporary use. We are experienced in dealing with the sensitivities of development in conservation zones and with heritage listed properties. We work with you and your local council to achieve good, heritage sensitive outcomes.
